This is a pewter pendant from our “Celtic Harmony” collection. This particular design is called “Virtue”. The pendant comes on a story card explaining the meaning of the pendant. A black adjustable, corded necklace is included. The points surrounding the center symbolize the five virtues of the pentagram – generosity, courtesy, chastity, chivalry and piety. Sir Gawain was said to have these inscribed in gold on his shield. In the early middle ages the mystical cult of the Celts roamed throughout Europe. By wearing this symbol the Celts believed they would be in harmony with the virtue of this symbol.
